may I know if the zipline project in github and the engine behind this web is synchronized? or there are lots of gaps between them

Hi Zhouli, welcome! Yes, the Zipline code in Github is synchronized with the engine that's powering the web IDE. We open sourced our backtesting engine and it's available here: https://github.com/quantopian/zipline
If you develop your algorithm offline, when you're ready, you can easily port it over to Quantopian using the get_environment function.
