You can write any strategy using price data and fundamentals for US stocks and ETFs. For more info on our data sources, check out the help doc. Browsing through other threads, you may have seen that we're working to add futures to the platform. In general, we'd like to provide a large set of tradeable assets to provide a diversity of instruments for you to create algorithms and enter our crowdsourced hedge fund: https://www.quantopian.com/managers
