Why is this pricing data so different from all other sources?

BOBE on sharpcharts

It looks like there is a 7 point jump in price per the quantopian data on June 8 that does not appear in any of the other data sources I have looked at. There did appear to be a 34 cent dividend issued on that date, but I don't think that would account for the 7 point jump, and why the price seems so much lower prior to that date in the Quantopian data. Can anyone explain this?

After trying a few different dates in the workbook, it certainly seems like this jump is a result of the dividend adjusted price. Would a 7 point adjustment be appropriate for a 34 cent dividend?

I'm not an expert but I don't think it's appropriate. Pulling up the dividend history shows that a 34 cent dividend is rather normal for the stock although maybe there was some sort of sentiment and the 34 cent dividend was much greater than expected.

I checked BOBE on June 8th on TD's thinkorswim and it also does not show such a steep move up which is concerns me about quantopian backtesting.

Hope someone can shed light on this.

There was a 'special dividend' of $7.50/share payable on 6/16/2017. See http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/bobe/dividend-history . This accounts for the price jump however it does appear that it's being applied on the wrong date. This may be an error in the Quantopian date data?
