What/who decides what is an 'interesting' post?

I initially thought that "Interested" was automatically generated based on post views or something similar but came to realization that it is not the case. The next conclusion is that it is human curated by a member of a Quantopian team.

I often find that I am more interested in posts in the newest category than those marked as interested. Curator's interest and mine obviously diverge. So maybe a better name would be simply 'Curated'.

ps. I said it before but Ill repeat - great job on the forum software

Hi vladimir,

The curation is done manually here by Q employees. The intention behind the front tab is to provide a more slimmed down version fo the forums for the many new, novice community members we welcome every month. A feed with every new post can be intimidating and overwhelming to the newer members. As a long-time member, I suspect your ability to pull the wheat from the chaff as it relates to your interests is well honed.

Thanks
Josh
