Sounds like a prime dude who purports to know his stuff. So, how do you join without paying an exorbitant tuition? Or driving up, over, down, to Seattle?
I'm not sure, I do think it's online, I am not sure of the fees, but I am not signing up because I won't be around to watch enough of them. Looks great though.
Hello, guys. Just wanted to chime in and say that we're in the process of developing a quant curriculum to be offered for free. Can't give more details yet, but if you're interested keep an eye out for community posts in the next few months.

Teach 'em all how to fish and then trail along behind buying up their best catch.
Or it's like Quantopian is a farm for growing quants and algorithms:
"Byte by byte, row by row, gonna make this algo grow. Gonna make the data flow 'till the money comes tumblin' down."
@Delaney: That is cool news. I know I could sure use me some learning about being a quant!
@Market Tech: You never cease to impress me. :)
I'm impressed. You should definitely record it.

The Market Tech theory of Q, as an insidious strategy harvesting machine, scouring the globe for its next unsuspecting victim. Cue classic sci-fi music... Keep your children in doors! : )
Quantopian = Matrix (finance version)
By this time next year The Q will be a front behind which, stored in vast vats of aqueous VIXtriuous, quants live out their lives dreaming they sit at desks writing python. When in reality Quantopian hosts their bodies in underground vaults. Tens of thousands of quant brains will be the engine of humanity's doom as they calculate in mass synchronicity the perfect zero beta blend of global security prices. No asset is safe, no price fluctuation ignored as the Q subsumes all financial instruments, scraping the last bit of profit from every crack and crevasse. Human survivors will know them as the Dredge Fund.
[Oh look, it's Saturday.]
