Very slow backtests today?

Anyone experiencing the slowness?

Hi Pravin,

I do see that we had a fairly high load on our backtest servers early this morning, but it appears to have settled down recently. Remember that backtests run on shared infrastructure, so when we see a sudden increase in the amount and/or scale of backtests on the platform, it can affect everyone for a while. Our auto-scaling service has responded to the increased demand and it looks like a new batch of backtest servers are about to go live. That should improve things for you.

Best regards,
Ian

Thanks for the feedback Ian. Can we please have the daily mode of backtesting again? It is much more productive to bounce a few ideas of the daily backtester before running the minute backtests which in my case takes 5 hours for 4 years.
