Trade Timing Issue With Talib MACD Sample

First I'll preface this by saying that I am new to programming. I've been learning through some light reading but mostly trial and error. I like to make small tweaks to other peoples source code to see if I can successfully make changes without getting errors. I've been trying to change the Talib MACD sample algorithm to trade on the first of each month rather than each day. I figured it would be a quick and simple exercise, but I just can't figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Mark,

New programmers are always welcome! Your strategy of learning by trying to tweak code made by others is a popular one that works for a lot of people. While it may seem a bit overwhelming if you're new to programming, our help page provides the full documentation on what functionality is available in our development environment. For this specific problem, I would suggest using the schedule_function command, for which the documentation and an example can be found here.

Let me know if this helps!
