Theano? Is there a plan to make it available?

Hi,
I had requested that theano be made available on quantopian a few months ago. Just wanted to check if there is a plan to make it available anytime soon.
I develop most of my machine learning algorithms using theano and would be love to be able to use in quantopian.

I understand the GPU access may not be available soon. But theano does allow array/formula acceleration using C libraries even without GPU. But the good thing is when GPU becomes available, the same python/theano code can use the gpu without any changes.

So please make theano available so that we can start developing with it, even if GPU access may not be available soon. theano compliments numpy very nicely.

Hello Sarvi, thanks for the request.

Theano is on the list of modules to be evaluated and added to Quantopian - there are a half-dozen or so that have had multiple requests. I'm sorry we haven't been able to get to it, and unfortunately it will be a bit longer still. We've been very focused on our live trading engineering efforts, and we haven't had a lot of bandwidth to invest in other requested product improvements. It kills me - I want to do it all! But unfortunately we can't.

Your request will bump this up the list, though - we need to do this for you.
