Hey guys. I'm very new. Can someone please show me what an algorithm would look like to buy only one share of a stock and then sell it 5 minutes later?

Welcome to Quantopian! Peter posted a great algo to get started. Here is another algo that buys one share of Apple and sells after 5 minutes. The timezone is in EST.
In general, order_target_percent is a robust way to scale your stock allocations but I used the order method for simplicity.
