Hi @Vladimir:
I’m sorry about the inconvenience you faced in getting to the /algorithms page. Our goal was to make a series of incremental changes to the Algorithms page to make it easier to use, but in making those incremental changes, we left the UI in a bad state, and left it unusable for users who had high numbers of algorithms and backtests. I apologize for the trouble.
Today, we’ve made a series of improvements that should help:
- Performance improvements to the /algorithms page for users with high numbers of algorithms. We expect that the page should load successfully now. If in case it doesn’t, please feel free to post here, email [email protected], or message me personally through the platform and we’ll get it fixed ASAP.
- There’s a search bar on the algorithms page that allows you to search by keyword. You can search both by algo name (eg: “My fundamentals algo”), or the last modified column (eg: “3 days ago”).
- We’ve made the pagination factor configurable, so that you can paginate in blocks of 10, 25, 50 or 100 algos (the default is 25), which both you and @Leo M had requested.
I hope that the changes improve the page’s usability, and appreciate your patience. Feedback, both good and bad, is always very helpful for us. We’re hoping to make usability improvements to this page in the future, and will take particular care to make sure they don’t break for users with high numbers of algorithms. Please let me know if the page is working as expected again.
