The close price from get_pricing() is different from the close price from Pipeline

I just found the following issue in the research platform:

AAPL Close Price on 2016-09-16:
from "get_pricing()": 114.91
from pipeline Q1500US: 115.59
(Please see the Notebook attached.)

Can somebody tell me what the problem is? Thanks.

If you expand the dates by 2 or so and interchange symbols, it appears that the pipeline is one day behind. So using 2016-09-19 pipeline reports what get_pricing reports is reporting on 2016-09-16. more then an exchange issue.

I updated this before trading on 9/20 /2016

In Pipeline, creating a USEquity.close.latest factor gets you the close price from the previous day while get_pricing returns the close price of the current day.

Jamie,

To get the close price correctly aligned with the date (yesterdays close with yesterdays date) in Pipeline, what do I use in place of USEquityPricing.close.latest?

pipe = Pipeline(columns={'Close': USEquityPricing.close.latest},screen = Q1500US())
