Hi,
i just looked at the results of my algo in the contest and it shows a score delta of +0.135 - but the actual score just went from 0.906 on 24th up to 0.909 on 25th. I just checked the CSV exports from these days to be sure i am not messing up the numbers.
This is the first time i notice something like this... Did i miss something? Why is the delta of the score not the actual difference of these two days?
My guess is that the score delta of your algorithm is the difference of the score your algorithm had yesterday to the score your algorithm has today in the most recent backtest. Maybe your algorithm went up +0.135 in Backtest_25th from 24th to 25th. But the difference between Backtest_24th and Backtest_25th is only +0.03. This might happen because your backtests have slightly different outcomes depending on the day they were started or because of the 63-day scoring window.
