"STOCK" is part of SEC's Tick Size Program. (Robinhood reject for stop market order)

"SYMBOL" is part of SEC's Tick Size Program. Because of this, you can only place orders in increments of $0.05. Please update to the newest version of Robinhood to make market orders for SYMBOL.

I see the above message on my LIVE trading with Robinhood dash board for some of the rejected orders even though the stop quote is surely in increments of $0.05. It is a stop market order. In my algo, I round the quote so that it is an increments of $0.05.

Has anyone hit this issue? I have had this problem for so long and want to fix it ASAP.

Any workaround are welcome.

Thanks a lot!

I also use Robinhood. I suggest contacting them directly, maybe thru the phone app, "Help, Contact Support, Report A Bug". I think you will get a faster response that way.

Hi Charles,

I did that and waiting for their response. Will update when I get a response.
Since it is a common issue, I was hoping folks here might have a solution to it.

Thanks,
Santosh
