Slow Backtest

Have you guys encountered very slow loading when backtesting since 2 days ago?

Or is it just my computer???

Hi, I have encountered similar problem. Check the algo that you have written, The backtest engine will be much faster if you add a schedule_function to the context.

Two days ago, we updated the platform to Quantopian 2. As part of that update, daily mode was removed from backtesting. Is it possible that your algorithm does most of its work in handle_data() and was previously running in daily mode? If so, you will want to change your algorithm to use schedule_function() to run a function once per day as Nikolay suggested. A very simple example of this can be found here.
