Set_universe doesn't include stocks that are in your portfolio

If you attempt to sell a security in your portfolio that isn't in the set_universe for that day you will get an error. To add it into data.keys() you can do a simple for loop in initialize.

For stock in context.portfolio.positions:
        data.keys().append(stock)
1 response

That certainly sounds strange, when you iterate through "context.portfolio.positions" or "data" this should return all of the open positions you have in your portfolio. Regardless of how they were added (symbols(), fetcher, set_universe, etc).

Could you share the full code? Or a skeleton structure with your example? If you don't want to share it publicly, you can collab with me at [email protected]
