I was reading a post that mentioned that there is a firm that looks at satellite pictures of parking lots to predict returns and also aggregates current sales by credit card (I think visa had something). I was wondering if anyone knows where we can find the providers of these datasets etc.
Every quant has two quests I think. How do I find/create datasets that are predictive of returns and how do I build the best model with the data available.
