Robinhood Integration Issues

Robinhood integration issues Subscribe
Update - Through a coding error we introduced a bug that prevents Robinhood algorithms from placing orders. The algorithms are getting data updates from Robinhood, but all orders are failing.

1) Already deployed algorithms: Later today we plan to ship a fix for the problem. We will not be able to immediately apply that bug fix to algorithms that are already trading. When your algorithm starts tomorrow, it will use the anticipated bug fix.

If you wish to make trades using Quantopian today, you may do so after the bug is shipped this afternoon by stopping your existing live algorithm and re-deploying the code as a new live-algorithm. This is option is only available after the bug fix is deployed, however.

2) Newly deployed algorithms: All newly-deployed algorithms today are having the same problem. After the bug fix is released, newly deployed algorithms will work.

IB-integrated algorithms, Quantopian paper trading algorithms, and contest algorithms are not affected by this issue.

We will make another update this afternoon.

Identified - At this time, no new Robinhood orders can be placed. We have identified the cause of regression and are working on a fix.

Investigating - We are investigating issues with placing trades through our Robinhood integration.

If we continue to run our live algos:

  1. If we leave the live algos alone - the bug fix will resume normal trading tomorrow?
  2. Will the algos hooked up to Roobinhood show orders in Quantopian that are just rejected - IE the algos are running fine, just orders cannot be placed?

Thank you.
