research - The kernel appears to have died. It will restart automatically.

I get the error:

The kernel appears to have died. It will restart automatically.

I think the term "deceased" would be more respectful. And no funeral? At least the Q religion incorporates reincarnation...

It occurs when I try to plot a large heatmap (if I limit the range of years, it is possible to plot the heatmap).

How can I fix the problem?

I was experiencing this problem in quantopian research as well.

When I try to run the notebook, I get KeyError: Timestamp('2001-12-28 00:00:00+0000', tz='UTC') in cell 6, which is trying to run the pipeline.
