Research: is there a function to save a CSV file?

In Research, is there a function to save a CSV file to the /data directory (similar to local_csv, but for saving instead of loading the file)?

Luca,

We have blacklisted the ability to write a CSV in Research. While wanting to export and save the data you've manipulated is important (especially for very large data sets) this represents an ability for nefarious users to abuse our data and potentially mass download it. Protecting our financial data is one of the reasons that we can offer its usage for free. I hope that provides some rational as to why modules like Pandas .to_csv() are blacklisted.

Thanks, I thought that but I double checked to be sure.

It's unfortunate that we can't save data, this is keeping me from using Quantopian since I do a lot of pre-processing of data which takes a long time to run. How does saving data to a location we don't otherwise have access to enable mass downloads?
