Hello,
Its necessary for me to refer to the SMA for a few prior bars.
I want to test and see if yesterday's price was above yesterday's 10 day SMA
and
if the day before yesterday's price was above the day before yesterday's 10 day SMA
whats the simplest way to do that?

You can either store the value or use history() to track the SMA. Here is a calculation for yesterday's 10 day mavg:
