I understand that there are packages within Python that replicate some of R's functionality. That being said, if Quantopian is serious about it's platform, it is imperative it spends the time to integrate R itself.
It'd be great if this post gets some constructive attention - R would be a great addition to the platform and I'm excited to hear comments other than "you can use Python packages".
