Getting Started Tools and Tips Lectures

Hi everyone,

We would like to invite you to attend our hands-on Introduction to Algorithmic Trading Workshop in London on the 24th of September. We are also holding a free Factor Modeling meetup on September 23rd. There are more details for both events below. We hope you can join us!

The Algorithmic Trading Workshop

The workshop will give you a strong foundation to craft a trading strategy. It will:

Give you the ability to create and backtest your own basic trading strategies.
Show you how to use algorithmic trading tools that will help you craft your strategies.
Teach you how to correct for some statistical biases that can disrupt analysis.

Factor Modeling Meetup

Join us for our free presentation on "Factor Modeling" by our Director of Academia, Delaney Granizo-Mackenzie. He will be presenting an IPython Notebook that explores long-short strategies and fundamental factor models in an application involving US equities. Food and drinks will be provided!
