Hi guys, I develop quantitative strategies for a hedge fund and I'm looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable and experienced on the Quantopian platform to help me learn and implement some ideas. We can do lessons / discussions via Skype and a screensharing application like Teamviewer. I'm very strong in programming / software development and in finance, but beginner level in Python and Quantopian. Please email me at [email protected] if you're interested with an approximate rate that you'd expect. Location not important -- I'm in Manhattan and work EST hours.

Hi Ashish,

There's a new Quantopian tutorial series starting just for someone like you (someone who knows coding and finance but isn't too familiar with Quantopian and the Python that goes with it). The link to the tutorial is here (https://www.quantopian.com/posts/quantopian-tutorial-with-sample-momentum-algorithm-lesson-1-the-basics-of-the-ide) with the next one coming up on December 15th, 2014 as a live webinar (sign ups heading out soon).

Hope that helps and I can provide you some extra resources if you'd need as well.
