Hi,
Now that Quantopian has attracted funds and has become a more serious business, they should consider purchasing some commercial optimization software for portfolio optimization. At the moment folks are stuck with cvxopt which is incredibly difficult if you want to try something out of the ordinary or scipy minimize which fails most of the times.
Does Quantopian have any such plans?
