Quantopian market place?

Hi, I am interested in creating an algorithm and would love someone to tutor me through the basics of what I want to do. It is a very simple system so I doubt it would take long, but I do want to learn what is going into it. Does Quantopian have any sort of market place where programmers can offer their tutoring services?

Thank you for any help.

Luke

Hello Luke,
Welcome to the community. I have been using https://www.codecademy.com/ to help me with the basics for learning Python. As far as your idea is concerned the first place I would start is searching the forums, I bet there is a 90% chance that someone did sometheing similar to what you want to do. No point in re-inventing the wheel. Just copy the code that is already in use and modify it where need be. If you give me an idea of what kind of code you want to write I could give you links to possible forum posts where you can find code already written. Also here is a good start: http://wiki.quantapolis.com/index.php?title=Algorithms I am not a pro by any means, but if you are looking for a step by step rundown of what the algos are doing, I could talk to you over skype or discord or whatever and tell you what I know so far. Don't be shy to send me an email if you have further questions.
