Quantopian Lecture Series: Introduction to Python

Python is quickly becoming the language of choice for many finance professionals. In this lecture we will provide a brief overview of many key concepts. The goal is to give the reader enough handholds that they can start using other resources such as our lecture series, online documentation, and websites such as stackoverflow.com to learn more.

All lectures can be found here. https://www.quantopian.com/lectures

Is there video or slides or something other than the notebook associated with this lecture.
I can't seem to find it, view or play it. I seen the lecture series a list of lectures. One of them is Numpy. But can't seem to play or see it.

Hello Saravanan,

We have not recorded a video yet, and will get to it as soon as we can. In general we are re-recording videos for all lectures as many of the videos currently listed were taken directly from webinar streams and are lower quality.

Thanks,
Delaney

Hi, is there any update on getting videos for the lectures? I can only find a video for the first one at the moment

On the lecture page (https://www.quantopian.com/lectures), when you click on the lectures, they show little icons. Some lectures have notebooks, some have backtests, some have videos, some have more than one of the above.

Or, you can go to our YouTube channel and check the ones with "Lecture" in the title.

EDIT: I forgot, we have a Lectures Playlist even!
