Getting Started Q Updates Portfolio Optimization

The countdown is on! QuantCon 2016 is just a few short weeks away with our first talk starting at 9am EDT on April 9th.

The Speaker Schedule
Our agenda is now available! We are thrilled to announce Manoj Narang, co-founder and CEO of MANA Partners, LLC, will be joining Dr. Emanuel Derman as our second keynote speaker, and will present his talk "Untapped Alpha."

Due to an unexpected obligation, Dr. Michael Kearns will no longer be able to present.

All rooms, except for the Nolita Hub, will be recorded and streamed. All recordings and presentation slide decks will be made available to in-person and online attendees, shortly after the conference.

Hack with Us! Sunday, April 10th
A free, data-centric hackathon will be held on Sunday, April 10th at the CQF Institute in New York City. You will learn how to build a trading algorithm with data sets from Accern, EventVestor, PsychSignal, and StockTwits.

Were there discounts for students for QuantCon 2016 (and, if you already know, will there be discounts for students for QuantCon 2017 in NYC)?

Yes, we do give students discount. There will definitely be student pricing available for QuantCon 2017. We plan to announce NYC QuantCon towards the of the month. Stay tuned!
