Please consider default downloaded data footprint for each backtest

Every 10-14 year backtest seems to generate a huge data footprint of the order of several 100MBs (maybe 300MB-500MB), I am guessing it is either transactions or daily positions and gains or returns or a combination of some left hand side selections that are getting downloaded by default without giving an option to the user to just see the basic returns graph at the top with summary metrics MDD etc.

My recommendation is to make some of larger data downloaded to be on demand (for instance when someone clicks on daily returns or transactions in the left hand panel ).

Recently I was in India on vacation for 3 weeks and I was afraid to view any backtest results page for fear of running through the data limits of the accounts connection which was set at 1GB (which is a normal limit there for browsing activity that most users in 3rd world countries are used to). Not everyone around the world is sitting on T1 lines with unlimited bandwidth, so please make the large data downloads that happen by default on the backtest results page to happen on demand.

Quantopian might end up saving tons on bandwidth costs as well in the process.
