%%zipline - invalid syntax

I installed Anaconda 2.7 32 bits on Windows 8.1 64 bits (I've tried it with Anaconda 3.4, but even though zipline's Github page says it's supported, I couldn't install it), and run the following command successfully: "conda install -c Quantopian zipline" .

I created a new iPython notebook and run the following, as per the tutorial:

import zipline

%%zipline --start 2000-1-1 --end 2014-1-1 --symbols AAPL -o perf_ipython

from zipline.api import symbol, order, record

def initialize(context):
    pass

def handle_data(context, data):
    order(symbol('AAPL'), 10)
    record(AAPL=data[symbol('AAPL')].price)

However, I am presented with the following error:
File "<ipython-input-5-6241b647c472>", line 3 %%zipline --start 2000-1-1 --end 2014-1-1 --symbols AAPL -o perf_ipython ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax

I am clearly missing something, but I'm not sure what. I'd like to develop the algorithm in my desktop, before putting it up on Quantopian.
Could someone point me in the right direction, please? Thank you

Hi,

The %% magic needs to be the first line of a new cell, so the import zipline would need to be in a separate cell. Does that fix the issue?

Hi, thank you! That would be it.
Problem solved. Appreciate it (:
