Hello, I could not find discussions about the below topic on the forum. Maybe because this is a tricky question. I'm a data scientist working in another field than finance. I'm debating if I should switch from a passive investment strategy (ETFs) and start using my skills and time to manage an active portfolio. Looking at past performances (I'm not asking for projections or advice), have Quantopians generally outperform the markets in the long term?
