Hello, after 40+ years of development, I finally have a Stock Market trading system for Macro Trading the overall U.S. Stock Market. I've had 12 of 13 profitable years in trading my retirement account, with worst drawdown of -21% in 2008. 29/33 of my most recent trades have been profitable. I want to collaborate with a person who has a strong background in the math/statistics area, and convert my trading system to a format that will be understandable and replicable to investment professionals.
Although I have about 20 indicators, including those that are only applicable in certain low frequency special situations, I can limit myself to the 8-10 that have a short to intermediate time orientation for purposes of initial development and testing.
My strengths include: going from those indicators that help me hit significant lows on the exact day or within 1 to 2 days accuracy on buys, to those that give admittedly vague forecasts as much as 40 yrs. in the future. Several of my indicators are derived from my own privately created data bases rather than data publicly available. I may well be one of the best in the country at using CNBC and other financial media sources in non-traditional ways to develop indicators that correlate well with Market highs and lows.
I'm not a mathematical purist who believes that a timeless and unalterable trading system can and should be developed. If I find a partner, I'd like to put together a beta system that is a reasonable facsimile of my proprietary system, then make a series of short-term trading decisions over the span of a few months, to demonstrate the usefulness and accuracy of the system. Then, having shown its value, we can move to refine and market the system to financial professionals, sharing in the revenue in an equitable way that reflects my partner's contributions.
