Getting Started Using Data

Dear all,

Can I get the data from Chinese or Hong Kong stock market? Or this platform is only for US?

This platform is for researching, backtesting, paper trading, and live trading US equities. We're working to integrate other data - futures are next on our radar. Afterwards, we'll look at other asset classes and international equities.

While you can't explicitly trade Chinese stocks, you can see if there are signals available between the markets to trade US securities. You can use Fetcher to import Chinese data as signals. Here is a similar example.

To run backtest on none-US market, one usually needs to customize Zipline in areas related to calendar and treasury benchmark.
