Just getting started with Quantopian and the research environment....
I'm querying fundamentals data by a single symbol (MMM). Something seems off here - why do I get data for two securities?

Andrew,
This is one of the main downfalls of using ticker symbols in code: they change. I'm going to make the assumption that when you typed in 'MMM' you wanted information about 3M, but you see that it also returned information about Minco Gold, a Canadian mining firm. That is because Minco Gold used to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker MMM. It then traded on the NYSE under MMK before finally changing to MGH. That is why you get data for two securities.
Here is a filing with the SEC that gives some information on the history of the company including ticker changes.
