I'm having some issues with historical data not lining up with other sources. I've encountered this in $SPY and $GE so far. For example, tradingview.com lists the daily closing price of $GE on 12-6-18 as 7.35 and Quantopian's historical data lists it as 7.17. I'm observing green and red candles in the historical data where they should not be. Does anyone know what has changed?
Quantopian's data is generally very sound and DOES align with other sources both in backtesting and in the research environment (they both use the same data). Maybe take a look at this post https://www.quantopian.com/posts/quantopian-assets-prices-doesnt-match-real-prices for some possible explanations for what you are observing.
