Not sure what's wrong with Algorithm

I am doing a ma-crossover model that purchases stocks when the RSI is under 14. It hits a point and then the algorithm stops making any transactions. Not sure if it is the code. I am currently back testing in daily mode.

Quantdog,

Line 31 is
purchase=1/count but count is an integer, so with integer division you either have 1/1 = 1, or 1/(any number bigger than 1)=0
Replace with purchase=1.0/count and you're sorted.

@ Quantdog

Just to add onto James's suggestion. If you do

from __future__ import division

all division operations will be floating point whether you add the decimal or not. See the Python docs for detailed reasoning.

My length of transaction is too only like a day or too, When is my algorithm selling the stock?

So in your code you are never actually selling any stocks, you are just buying and buying. All of your order_target_percents set to zero are placing orders for stocks you don't even own to zero, so they are fairly pointless. I'd encourage you to come up with an exit strategy for positions you take, e.g. sell when the stock is overbought, this will give you an actual strategy to work with.
