I've just started using Quantopian, and my experience in python is also limited (but I'm enjoying the process of learning each!). I'm wondering why, with this algo, trades aren't executed when the set_universe line is active (and context.stocks line is deactivated). The portfolio just sits at 100% cash. If the stocks are listed individually in context.stocks, the algo seems to execute trades. Would appreciate anyone who can help! Thanks!
