I have noticed that there is no longer a "Live Trade" button available in the IDE. I have also noticed that this feature has been a bit ambiguously "discontinued" on https://www.quantopian.com/faq under "Company". I am hoping that there is an explanation for this. My initial reason for starting to use Quantopian was so that I would be able to live trade it on my own in the future. Is this feature going to be permanently discontinued? Will it be available at a cost in the future? What was the reason for the discontinuation? I am quite frankly disappointed that this is no longer available. I would be grateful to hear an explanation from a Quantopian member. If anyone else has noticed/not noticed this change or has any input, I'd appreciate a comment.

I believe the reason it was discontinued is because Quantopian is, first and foremost, a hedge fund. I would assume it was costing them a significant amount of money to allow people to live trade with real money and they were receiving nothing back as most people were, like you, only using Quantopian to 'live trade it on my own in the future'. I would assume they were hoping that if they allowed live trading they would receive lots of ideas back from their users, but they've ended up with people taking advantage of their system.
