I have searched this forum to find an answer, but with no luck. Is there a way to buy and sell a stock on a specific date? I couldn't find it in the API.
What I am trying to do is buy a stock a couple of days before the Ex-dividend date and sell it after the pay date.

Hi Jaime,
You can get the current time in UTC using get_datetime. You can then make a condition for the date of interest like this:
cur_time = get_datetime()
if cur_time.month == 2 and cur_time.day == 29:
print "leap year!"
