hey all ive been trading for over 10 years successfully. I have no idea how to put my existing strategy into quantopian. Its a strategy based on price movements and cross overs. where do i begin? please help i have no coding experience. I tried to use codecademy.com and its all alien to me. please help thanks.

Welcome to Quantopian! The first thing that you'll want to do is learn some basic Python. codeacademy.com is a good resource and here are a few alternatives:

- Dive into Python - http://www.diveintopython.net/
- Learn Python - http://www.learnpython.org/
After that, you can get started with the basic Quantopian tutorials.

I was in your shoes about a year ago , and still learning, but was able to programmed a few algos with the help of the community and staff. Take a look at PythonProgramming.net . This guy is pretty awesome.
