New Properties on sid() Object

The sid() object has several new properties you can access in your algorithm. The stock symbol and the company name are now easy to see, plus a few other fields that might come in handy. This isn't a huge feature, but it has been highly requested. It should make it easier for everyone to log and record information about their algos.

You can read the full documentation in our API documentation.

You can clone the algo below and review the log output to see it in action. It will look like this:

integer ID: 26578
stock symbol: GOOG
security name: GOOGLE INC
trade start date: 2004-08-19 05:00:00+00:00
trade end date: 2013-07-02 05:00:00+00:00
