New here: How do I change the instrument used in a backtest?

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm having a difficult time changing the instrument from AAPL to another instrument. I have the algo logic planned out but still learning how to code.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Change the "symbol" or "sid" call to a different security.

If you start typing "symbol(" in the IDE you will get a dropbox where you can search for any US security. Check out the help doc for more info: https://www.quantopian.com/help#ide-sid-lookup
