Missing run_pipeline in research API?

According to this, run_pipeline should be available in the research notebook API:

https://www.quantopian.com/help#quantopian_research_run_pipeline

However,

run_pipeline(pipe, jan1, today)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
NameError Traceback (most recent call last)
<ipython-input-5-efa8fa11e5ee> in <module>()
----> 1 run_pipeline(pipe, jan1, today)

NameError: name 'run_pipeline' is not defined

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here...

Thanks,

Sunil

Hi Sunil,

To use Pipeline in research, you'll need to add a few import statements:

from quantopian.pipeline import Pipeline
from quantopian.pipeline import CustomFactor
from quantopian.research import run_pipeline
from quantopian.pipeline.data import morningstar
from quantopian.pipeline.data.builtin import USEquityPricing

Check out this post that has a nice example.

Hi, I am new to quantopian.
After importing all the libraries mentioned above, I am still seeing the same error.
Am I missing something?
NameError Traceback (most recent call last)
in ()
----> 1 my_pipe = make_pipeline()

in make_pipeline()
1 def make_pipeline():
----> 2 return pipeline()

NameError: name 'pipeline' is not defined

Thanks.
