Maths for Quant Trading

Hi
I am looking for some guidance for learning mathematics as I have started to look at quant trading material such as online blogs/Ernie Chan's books, strategies I found from SSRN. In all these resources, I am usually following the text until there is some mathematical concept/equation where I just feel completely lost.
In terms of my background, I am 33 and have been working in IT since uni (Telecommunications engineering degree, 2008). So its safe to say I have basically forgotten all the math I ever learned.
So the question I wanted to ask is, what kind of math I need to learn and what is the most structured way to learn that instead of going through random articles on internet. One idea I have is, go through A-level maths and further maths but I suspect there is some stuff that is not included in that such as stochastic differential equations, multivariable calculus, time series analysis ? Or maybe I will be learning these topics separately after going to A levels stuff as they are more advanced.

Any advice will be appreciated.

thanks
Jabran
