Thomas Wiecki did a nice job of hosting a mini contest, and then reviewed some of the tear sheets on a YouTube video, announcing the winners. Beyond the $100 prize, the winners were awarded license agreements for their algos. The video is available publicly:

I thought the mini-contest was a great idea, and the video is instructive, and should also help promote hedge fund participation by the community, since license agreements were promised to five new members, after relatively little effort on their parts.
