Live Webinar: Introduction to Qgrid

Please join us for our next webinar, "Introduction to Qgrid", on Thursday, July 19th at 12:00pm ET. Tim Shawver, senior software engineer at Quantopian, will walk you through Qgrid, an interactive grid widget for exploring DataFrames in Jupyter Notebook and Jupyterlab.  Qgrid allows you to sort, filter, and edit the contents of your DataFrames using an intuitive point-and-click interface. This webinar will provide some historical context for the project, demonstrate Qgrid's functionality with a focus on recent developments, and discuss future plans.

About the Speaker:
Tim Shawver is a senior software engineer at Quantopian, where he created the first version of Qgrid in 2014. In addition to maintaining Qgrid over the years, Tim added the ability to share notebooks to the Quantopian forums, and also did the frontend work to integrate the Jupyter notebook interface into the Quantopian website.

We hope you can join us!

I have to say Qgrid is amazing for sorting dataframes! Love it. It feels much superior to .loc .iloc methods

I am rather new to Python and Quantopian. So, pardon me my ignorance, I had no idea what Qgrid was all about. And I must say it is just amazing. Thank you Tim.
