Live trading with IB: any plan for additional currencies?

Supporting additional currencies (and therefore supporting other stock exchanges I guess) is considered at all by Quantopian?

I guess you never say no to any feature request, but I am more interested to know if this is one of the task in the "high priority" queue or a task in the "maybe" queue or "next 1 or 2 year" queue :)

....and I know I can fund my IB account with another currency, but you also know how bad it is to add the currency conversion step in your strategy. This makes your returns depends on the exchange rate of your base currency vs Quantopian currency.

Thanks

This is something we want to do. It's somewhere between "highest priority" and "next 1-2 years."

The next tradeable market we're going to support is US-based futures. We have a team of people working on that every day. After futures is fully rolled out, I believe we will set our sights on some form of international trading. To support that, we're going to have to add support for additional currencies, in some form. I haven't dug into that plan enough to tell you what would or wouldn't be supported in terms of your brokerage account.

Thank you Dan.

Would also highly appreciate other currencies!
