I have a open long position in my live IB account with a GTC sell limit order. The limit order is shown in TWS, obviously, but not in the live trading dashboard. Should it be? And are existing limit orders like this available to the algo on startup?

Hi Peter,
Did you place your limit order in TWS and then launch your algorithm? When your algorithm launches, it will automatically pull in existing positions in your IB account, but will not display your open orders from IB. The "Orders and Fills" box on your live trading dashboard will only display orders that are placed by your algorithm.
When your limit order placed via TWS is filled, the position will get updated in the "Positions" box of the dashboard.
