I'm trying to get it to buy stocks in the top 10% and sell in the bottom 10% based on momentum, I'm having it print stock to the logs but it only prints one stock, but if I look in positions it looks like it bought multiple securities?
It's either not iterating properly or its not logging properly, any suggestions?

I cloned your algo and took a look at the logs in the backtest. From my version, it looks like the logs are working as expected! However, only the long orders are getting printed. Could that be what you're seeing?

This might be a task for the debugger tool. I would recommend using the debugger to step through your algorithm, one line at a time, to find exactly where the behavior of your algo deviates from what you expect!
