Is there a maintained list of basic algorithms & notebooks?

I'm looking for some list of algorithms for basic strategies created by the Q community. (I learn best by looking through well documented basic algorithms).

I found http://blog.quantopian.com/5-basic-quant-strategies-implemented-by-the-quantopian-community/ only that dates back to February 2014 -- at time of writing that is two and a half years old.

Is there anything more up-to-date and maintained?

Maybe we need something like https://www.quantopian.com/posts/trading-strategy-ideas-thread but for algorithms. Would a Q staff care to start such a thread if one doesn't exist already, and then every time someone posts new information they could copy the relevant text/link back to the original post, so that everything is organised by increasing complexity maybe, or something that makes sense.

This list is pretty good, though it's not maintained: https://www.quantopian.com/posts/whats-popular-the-10-most-frequently-cloned-backtests-over-the-last-2-months. I like the idea that you proposed of a maintained thread however, I'll see if I can cook something up.
