Our friends at DataCamp have launched a new time series analysis in Python course, led by Rob Reider, another friend of Quantopian. It features great material to dig into - and, even better, the first chapter is free. Here is more information from them:
From stock prices to flight timings, time series data are found in a wide variety of domains, and being able to effectively work with such data is an increasingly important skill for data scientists. This is why today, we’re launching a new course: Introduction to Time Series Analysis in Python, by Rob Reider, Adjunct Professor at NYU and Consultant at Quantopian, a crowdsourced hedge fund for quantitative analysts.
In this course, you’ll learn how to choose the best model for your time series data, and how to interpret statistics when building these models. You’ll gain experience with how these models are used, with a particular emphasis on applications in finance.
Master the basics of time series data by taking Introduction to Time Series Analysis in Python today.
Happy learning!
